Vegan Pear Cake

  • vanilla sugar

    Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Line a small round cake tin (18 cm diameter) with baking paper.

    First mix together the flour , corn startch , baking powder , sugar , vanilla sugar and salt .
    flour: 250 g, corn startch: 20 g, baking powder: 16 g, sugar: 150 g, vanilla sugar: 8 g, salt: a pinch

    Then beat in the sunflower seed oil and vegan milk with a hand mixer or whisk. Do not be alarmed, it should be a thick batter.

    Divide the batter over the mould. Peel the pear , divide it into quarters and remove the core. Cut the quarters into slices and arrange them nicely on top of the batter.

    Bake the cake for ⏱️ 45 minutes until done and golden brown. Let it cool on a wire rack for a while before serving.
